As a full-time bicycle patrol officer for the past six years, I have gone through several bicycles issued to me by the city. But I faithfully use the same BiSaddle no-nose bicycle seat for the duration. Only recently did I find the seat that was originally issued to me as part of a NIOSH health study wear though on the elastomer rubber cushioning, requiring replacement.
