James Lawrence or “The Iron Cowboy” will be attempting to complete 100 full Triathlons in 100 days. The counter above shows how many miles he has already traveled, and how many days until completion. Check back on this page for daily updates about the event.

Conquer 100 Triathalons

Some people work out to stay in shape, others compete in a triathlon, then there’s James Lawrence. Most people can’t imagine competing in a full triathlon, but James, nicknamed “The Iron Cowboy” is taking things to a whole new level. Starting March 1st he will set out to complete 100 full Triathlons in 100 days. That’s 140.6 miles of swimming, biking and running every day from March 1st to June 8th. That’s over 2 months of continuous physical endurance!

To help put that into perspective, when he completes this challenge, the Iron Cowboy will have traveled 14,060 mi. That means you could go from Alaska to the Southern most tip of South America, and you would still have traveled fewer miles than him! James has already completed 50 full triathlons in 50 states in 50 days, but he isn’t done. While the 50-50-50 was a big accomplishment, The Conquer 100 is his biggest one yet, to complete it, he will be putting his mental and physical limits to the test.

Conquer 100
Distance: 14,060 mi.

A full triathlon typically takes around 12 hours and 35 minutes on average. This means that James will be actively moving more hours a week than most Americans work. And to top it off, he’ll be doing it every day for over 2 months!

Triathlon Gear and Sponsors

By now you’re probably grasping just what an accomplishment this will be. That being said, an extreme event requires top of the line gear. James has partnered with many companies and only uses the finest gear available. One of which happens to be the BiSaddle. Riding a bike is one of the longest parts of any triathlon, thats why it’s important to have a good saddle. Bisaddle excels in this area, providing maximum, customized comfort with each ride. As James continues his 100 days, he can rest easy when it comes to saddle sores.
